I presented my Pecha Kucha to my class as a lot of people were begging me to speak up in the audience to reduce my confidence and anxiety. I have decided to change the way I was addressing to the audience but I was laughing and smiling at the people in front of me as they were distracting me. A lot has changed since last year presentation as the college given us a mini microphone that you could click onto the shirt or hoodie which was a great idea and easier to hear the recording after.
Today, I have covered all the elements but quite an lot of my classmates wasn’t paying attention to me as they were doing their own work which made me realize what is the point of me presenting in front of people when they can’t even put the works aside to pay attention just for an minute by looking at the person entertaining or presenting to the public. The amount of time that I have created over 19-20 slides just under 30 to 50 mins a days without taking a break makes me more stressful as I lost my previous powerpoint on technology effect on young people from 16-25 or 18-24 years old around those ages group unexpectedly and out of the blue. I got feedback from my teacher in person saying that it was impressive that you added some information on AR and VR. I did a lot of research on the subject where I have located a video that teenagers were discussing the dangers of technology as an interview group and it’s was something I had in my imagination. What went well for me, I was able to speak very clearly as possible to let everyone hear me but not many people was dispassionate on what I was explaining due to my voice even though I can speak clearly this time. So I have made an rush through to get this task done and over with as no one cares on how I was feeling as it’s was very rude to ignore the person.
Overall, I have received feedback comments infer that I need to speak more clearly and professionally towards people and never to look back on my phone for the way I would present to everyone. I should be more confident in front of the audience to avoid mistakes and not overly some words as it’s wasn’t that clear for people to hear. The other comments I need to improve is that I need to look at the camera and remember the statement on what I am going to saying off my heart. Which make the whole presentation flow more smoothly.

UAL EXTENDED DIPL IN CREATIVE MEDIA PRODUCTION AND TECHNOLOGY
After this year, I will be pursuing a different route by going into the world of work and exploring apprenticeships within film and tv in London. I would like to explore what it’s like to work in an environment with a variety of people operating as a team. I will not be attending university.
My final major project is about the effect of technology on teenagers and how the younger generation in our society use devices to connect with family and friends. Tech has become an extension to peoples lived that does not seem be going away anytime soon. For my final major project, I was going to create a video based on a role play but I decided to make a short interview of me, and my friend explaining the negative and positive about the safety of the internet. I have also designed a poster for theme of the topic, and I also used my own original imagery.
