Poster experimentation 10/03/25

Process of the poster:

Made a process of the poster with different colour tone that would match. And the first ideas didn't work for me as the colour was too blended in and light in the way that it looked too awkward. I wasn't happy with this but i created a better version than this one and the tools i used were image trace with different colour like the 3 colours and 16 colours and then expand. 

Poster idea:

This is the third example of the poster design on abode illustrator. I used an image of my friend in Brent Cross as an example of my original imagery. Highlighted each letters on the main title to place the same colour on the letter that are necessary. The tools that I used to select was image trace to three colours to six colours, text, shapes. Will definitely have this poster design as my final choice for the product. I definitely think I did very well on this design as I used all of my ideas to help me build and achieve the best possible results in advance. For the global, I used a tool called "paint brush" to highlight to select and paint the sections with green for the countries and blue for the sea water.  

Audio Recording app on iPhone:

I have screenshots an image of the app where I have use to record a short nine to ten minutes audio recording clip from my friend that was located in a park near her area. It was a good solid speech as she has tried her best to explain every key points clearly to a high standard on the chosen subject. My friend was very nervous but proud that she has contain all the elements I was looking for in my audio.

I imported the footages into premiere pro and the two posters that I have created, one of them is the main poster at the beginning and the other design is the back up poster. I downloaded the clip from the email platform called "Gmail" to collect the full clip to the software. I was struggling to add the pink second poster as it's came up with an error message saying that the poster wasn't responding. So I went over to illustrator to export the poster again to ensure that the problem will be resolved. After, I selected two music that are non-copyright into the  footage timeline to play around with to find a place to merge the music track together. I think I made a good start to the podcast style but also going to finish developing my final cut.

I have this poster as the old version because it represent the concept of the topic with a few friends to connect and communicate both online and in the real world. I wanted to use design 2 but I made a swipe from design 2 to 3 because it is the better fit and more colourful for the target audience to experience. I feel like the poster was a symbol of the topic and how people come together to communicate. For the global, I used paint brush tool on illustrator by selecting each countries symbols to paint over each one.

This is a rough cut of the interview that I have created. And the sound was clear and solid but some bop of error in between the clip. I will send this copy of the rough cut to people I know to receive feedback.

Poster feedback from my friend:

In this feedback, my friend prefer the pink poster as it's gives life and colourful which will the target audience will enjoy and capture the natures of the design. However i will use the poster as the back up but not the main. 

Rough cut video feedback:

I have receive an feedback on the video and my friend said i should add background colour to keep the content more engaging and inspiring. I think i know that my friend like the voice of the audio by me and how i started the introduction. 

Final Video:

Now that the editing process is done, I have exported the 13 mins video with some background music as referring as my final result. After I have received feedback, I have made some adjustments and additions to the video to make it more better and interesting to mess around with common calm music. When I realized that the video was good to go and went to file to export and export as a video file to upload to YouTube. I think I have made an improvement to the video after collecting some feedback from people as I have used all of their ideas to ensure that the video will be entertaining. The music goes very well with the concept of the video to let people know. I was pleased to have finished the Final Cut on premiere pro as though I could spend all day editing the footage even more but I am happy to stop here.

This is a feedback that was included in my audio interview has said. She said the music has goes very well with the content as it is a calm and relax atmosphere. And the first video that she watched was very good and impressive that I was able to include a suitable soundtrack for the video. 

Poster experimentation: Update 01.05.25

I have made another poster experimentation using illustrator. I changed the colours to blue and orange inspired by the Nigerian cultures from the fabric. This poster makes it more happier and colorful for the target audience. I feel like I did well as I already experience adobe illustrator in the past and previous projects in my current college and old college. But I had to make an other changes to the poster again.

I have experience and experimenting different colours by using image trace to have an ideas on the sort of colours needed for the poster and to standout. Before that, I have to change the layout from portrait mode to landscape to make the poster as a rectangle. I have decided not to wreak the position which makes it less difficult to continue developing more way to work along the process. I was disappointed that the design wasn’t exactly how I expected. In the end, I was able to make the most out of it as the final piece.

After feedbacks, this will be my final poster for the topics to capture the target audience interest. I was able to selected some of the heart shape to recolour them and each and every single one. I really liked how the poster turned out to be but I could have moved the oval shape down as I thought i did. But the preview was bringing something different which I thought I did some few changes. I just realized that I made an alternate to one of the words from the main title as the previous word didn’t suit the description of the subject. Overall, I am pleased that everything went well and smoothly as I have managed my time and has plenty of time to redevelop a new version of the design to meet deadline. And the colors are so pretty around the image something that suit very nicely for the audience.
